Perry sports updated with shortened schedules

As students and coaches wait for news of definite cancelations, the state has announced revised schedules for track and field and golf.

Perry, like every other district in the state, is closed through April 30 and may resume activities on May 1 under current coronavirus guidelines. Should schools close for the rest of the year, sports will also be halted.

In addition to spring schedules, the start date for baseball and softball practice has shifted from May 1 to May 18 to help accommodate multi-sport athletes. Opening day was moved to June 1 as well.

Additionally, middle school athletics have been officially canceled.

Soccer schedules remain in flux but should soon be released soon.
