W-G Cross Country shows skill at Panorama invitational

During one of the last few hot days of the year, Woodward-Granger Cross Country competed at the 44th Annual Panorama Invitational. The girl’s team placed eighth out of the 16 teams that competed and the boy’s placed 12th out of the 20 teams in their competition.

Among the individual results Bella Milosevich was 36th with a time of 25:40 followed by her teammate Natalie Helbling at 45th place in 26:03. Immediately after in 46th place was Ava Petersen with a time of 26:05 with Posey Robinson finishing soon after at 52nd with a time of 26:33. Next was Chloe David as the 61st runner to finish with a time of 27:11 preceding Katie Grell with a time of 27:17 at 64th place. The overall average time of the Hawks Girls runners was 26:18 with a time spread of 1:31 and their overall score was 240.

The boys scored 308 overall with an average time of 21:05 and a time spread of 1:46. First from the Hawks to finish was Dylan Steele at 43rd place with a time of 20:22 followed by Alex Bice at 46th place with a time of 20:28. Next up was Caleb Jones who finished 57th with a time of 20:44 and Xavier Ibarra coming in soon after at 76th with a time of 21:45. Noah Gleason placed 86th with a time of 22:08 and Nick Buch came in at 116th in 24:20.

The next race the Hawks will compete at will be on Monday, Sept. 17 at ADM High School beginning at 4:30 p.m.
