Perry falls to Webster City in first round of regional tournament

The Bluejays baseball team played their last game of the 2018 season on Friday, July 13. After traveling to and competing against Webster City for the first game of the regional tournament, Perry was defeated in the end 9-4.

Keghan West pitched every inning and came out of the game with two strikeouts, one base on balls and six earned runs.

The four Perry runs came at various points in the game with one in the first inning, two in the third and the last run in the seventh inning.

Kaleb Olejniczak went 1-for-3 with two runs while Gavin Boyer went 1-for-2 with one run. Aaron Lockwood did his part to contribute to the scoreboard by coming out of the game with three RBIs.

The only other run of the last game of the season came from Kyle Lockwood who batted 1-for-3.

The Bluejays ended the 2018 season with a 9-12 overall record.
