Perry softball played their last game of the year on Thursday, July 5 against Carroll in the first round of the 4A Region 3 softball tournament.

With similar talent on both sides the score came out in Caroll’s favor in the end 3-1.

The lone run of the game for Perry came in the seventh inning. Peyton Tunink batted 2-for-3 and hit a double while Gabby West was also able to hit a double.

Johanna Diw, Sydney Vancil, TJ Sheehy, and Grace Stewart each saw a single at one of their turns to bat.

Alyssa Kruger took the mound for this game once again and was able to pitch three strikeouts, one base on balls, and one hit by pitch.
