Bluejay baseball defeats Bondurant-Farrar at home

Perry baseball continues to successfully prepare for the upcoming state baseball tournament as the Bluejays took another win against Bondurant-Farrar on Tuesday, July 3 2-0.

The first inning was scoreless on both ends as Kaden Boyer was the only player on either team to make it to first. The second inning saw no runs as well with Keghan West taking the mound and pitching two strikeouts and no earned runs.

Perry finally saw their two runs of the game in the third inning as Gavin Boyer was able to hit a single and was soon subbed in by Kaden Boyer to get the run. Later on Aaron Lockwood was able to score another run to secure the victory for the Bluejays.

Perry is now 8-9 overall and will play their next game on Thursday, July 5 at home against Kuemper Catholic starting at 7 p.m.
