A Bluejay 8-6 lead vanished in the bottom of the sixth when the host Winterset Huskies (8-7, 4-4) scored seven straight runs to pull off the 13-8 comeback win.

On June 20, the Perry Bluejays (6-14, 3-5) scored early and often to take a 5-2 lead after three innings. They added another three scores in the bottom of the fourth for a commanding 8-2 lead.

In the bottom half, the home team cut the deficit to two with four runs and a chance to snatch the win. Perry’s offense was held scoreless in the fifth but still led by two runs, which eventually disipated.

Statistics will be updated as it becomes available.

The Bluejays are off until June 22 when they travel to Carroll to take on the Tigers.
