The Bluejays scored first but the host Wildcats pounced in the second and sixth innings for the conference victory.

The Perry Bluejays (4-6, 2-2) 1-0 lead after one inning, disappeared in the second when the Carlisle Wildcats (5-3, 2-1) scored five runs and then added another five in the sixth.

In the third inning, the road team cut the deficit to three at 5-2. They then added another run in the top of the sixth to come within two runs at 5-3. The game got away from them in the bottom of the sixth when Carlisle exploded for another five runs to claim the 10-3 win.

Perry allowed eight hits on 26 at bats. They gave up a grand slam to Carlisle’s Peyton Stephens.

The team will be back on the mound this Tuesday when they host the Boone Toreadors.

Statistics will be updated as it becomes available.
