PERRY — IMT Insurance, a leading provider of personal and commercial insurance products in the Midwest, recently collaborated with its Independent Insurance Agents to support COVID-19 relief efforts in their communities. Agencies made donations, across six states, ranging from $250 - $1,000. Through IMT's Month of Giving program, Agency donations were matched by IMT, dollar-for-dollar, totaling more than $37,000.

IMT hosted the Month of Giving program in reaction to the immediate need for relief. Right now, our neighbors need more help than ever. IMT Agents are generous, and IMT's donation match supports a shared commitment to supporting local businesses, food banks, non-profits and programs aimed to help relieve the stress thrust upon us by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Heenan Insurance, of Perry, was chosen as one of the 2020 IMT Month of Giving recipients with a $1,000 matching donation to the Dallas County Foundation (DCF). Since its inception in 2005, the DCF has awarded over $1,354,689 to over 250 projects in Dallas County. These grant dollars have been used to enhance large and small community organizations throughout the county. A listing of funded projects from 2006 to 2020 can be viewed at www.dallascountyfoundation.org. The Dallas County Foundation is an affiliate of the Community Foundation of Greater Des Moines.

IMT Insurance offers insurance products through nearly 1,000 Independent Insurance Agencies across six states: Iowa, Illinois, Minnesota, Nebraska, South Dakota and Wisconsin.
