Perry Community Blood Drive

2 - 6 p.m. Friday, July 24 at Dallas County Hospital, 610 10th St.

To help ensure the safety of blood donors and team members during this COVID-19 pandemic, LifeServe is enforcing several precautionary measures. Appointments are required. Donors who do not have an appointment will not be able to give blood. Blood donors should pre-screen themselves for fever prior to appointments. Only donors with temperatures under 99.5 will be allowed to donate. Blood donors are required to wear a mask for the duration of their appointment. Donors who do not have masks will be provided with one. Appointments are required. Schedule a blood donation appointment online at lifeservebloodcenter.org or call 800.287.4903.

Sip. Shop. Save! Enjoy an after hours shopping experience at participating Perry businesses on Friday, July 24. Shop summer specials while sipping complimentary refreshments at each location! 2nd Street will be closed to vehicular traffic between Willis Avenue and Lucinda Street to provide extra space for social distancing.

Tractor Ride, Community Breakfast

7-9 a.m. Saturday, July 25 at Washington Township School, located at the corner of P58 and F31.

The 2020 Tractor Ride and Community Breakfast will be held on Saturday, July 25 at Washington Township School. Breakfast will be held from 7-9 a.m., with the tractor ride to follow at 9 a.m. Call Dave Book for more information, 515-677-2625.

Mobile Pantry

Around 8:15 a.m. Saturday, July 25 at Crossroads Church, 2810 1st Ave.

Crossroads Church is hosting the Food Bank of Iowa Mobile Food Pantry on Saturday, July 25. The pantry will begin as soon as the truck unloads and are ready, which is usually 8:15 a.m.
