June 23

Received a report of harassment in the 900 block of Willis.

Received a report of theft by internet scam.

Officers responded to 900 block of Willis on a trespassing complaint.

June 24

Officers responded to the 1900 block of 5th St. on a report of harassment.

June 25

Arrest: A male Perry resident was arrested on a Guthrie County warrant, original charge of operating while intoxicated 1st offense and possession of marijuana. Also on a Dallas County warrant for failure to appear, original charge criminal mischief 2nd degree.

July 1

Officers responded to the 1600 block of 8th St. on fireworks complaint.

Officers received a report of harassment in the 1700 block of Warford.

Officers responded to the 2600 block of McKinley on fireworks complaint.

Officers responded to the 1900 block of Evelyn on fireworks complaint.

Officers responded to the 1900 block of 5th on fireworks complaint.

July 2

Officer received a report of a stolen cell phone in the 1500 block of W 3rd. St. Estimated loss $370.

Officers responded to the 300 block of 10thth St. on fireworks complaint.

A 21 year old female Rippey resident was cited for driving under suspension.

Accident: Vehicle one was backing up to the east to correct his position in a parking spot and the front drivers side bumper struck the rear passenger’s side of vehicle two. Both vehicles were facing west. Total estimate damages $850.

July 3

Accident: A two vehicle accident was reported. Vehicle two driver left insurance are with driver one. Vehicle two not at scene of accident. Accident under investigation at this time.

Accident: Vehicle one was traveling south on 7th St. and did not yield to the right of way to Vehicle two that was traveling west on Otley. Vehicle two then struck the driver’s side of vehicle one, causing the airbag deployment. Vehicle one was driven away and vehicle two was towed by private tow. Driver of vehicle one was issued citations for driving without a license and failing to obey stop sign and yield right of way. Total estimated damages $5,500.

Officers responded to the 1600 block of W 3rd on a fireworks complaint.

Arrest: A 20 year old male Perry resident was taken into custody and charged with driving while revoked, driving under suspension, and was cited for no insurance.

Officers responded to the 1100 block of 16th on a fireworks complaint.

Officers responded to the 2600 block of McKinley on a fireworks complaint.

Officers responded to a verbal altercation on the 1700 block of 5th. Situation calmed for the night.

Officers located person with fireworks in the 900 block of Willis Ave. Adult female issued a citation.

Officers responded to the 2500 block of Perry Park Ave. on a report of a fight in progress. Subjects were located, both calmed down and separated for the night.

Officers responded to the 1200 block of 1st Ave. on a report of theft. Case under investigation.

Officers responded to the 2900 block of Kading on a fireworks complaint. Verbal warning issued to adult female.

July 4

Officers responded to the 1700 block of 1st Ave. on a fireworks complaint. Lodged just after midnight.

Officers responded to the 1600 block of Otley on a fireworks complaint. Group moved to their own yard.

Officers responded to the 300 block of 7th St. on a fireworks complaint.

Officers responded to the 2000 block of 3rd St. on a fireworks complaint.

Officers responded to the 1600 block of W 3rd. St. on a fireworks complaint. Verbal warning issued to adult male.

Officers responded to the 2100 block of 3rd St. on a fireworks complaint. Verbal warning given to all parties at that location.

Located fireworks at 802 6th. Verbal warning was given to adult male.

July 5

Officers responded to the 2500 block of 1st St. on a fireworks complaint.

Accident: Vehicle two traveling east in the parking lot of Hy-Vee and turned down a row of parking spots. While vehicle two was turning to go north vehicle one was backing out of a parking spot and struck vehicle two. Total damages $1,700.

July 6

Accident: Reported that a small blue vehicle backed into the Pizza Hut delivery vehicle. Under investigation.
