Perry Police arrest Perry woman on kidnapping, sexual abuse charges
A press release from the Perry Police Department said Anne Sinzobakwira, of Perry, was arrested on Saturday, June 13 for first degree kidnapping, a Class A felony, and third degree sexual abuse - forcible rape, a Class C felony.
The Perry Police Department said the arrest stems from an investigation that started around 9:20 p.m. on Friday, June 12.
A parent had called to report their 14-year-old son missing, the department said. A short time later officers observed the juvenile leaving Sinzobakwira’s residence.
“The juvenile was then interviewed by officers. The juvenile stated that Anne had appeared at his bedroom window and threatened to harm him if he did not comply with what she told him to do,” the release said. “She directed him to climb out the window and go to Anne’s residence. It is alleged that once there she committed a sexual act upon the juvenile.”
Evidence was collected during a search warrant of Sinzobakwira’s residence. She was taken into custody and charged with first degree kidnapping and third degree sexual abuse - forcible rape. She is currently being held at the Dallas County Jail on a $1,000,000 bond.
