Perry Police Report: April 19-28
It should be noted that a criminal charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
Received a report of criminal mischief in the 1800 block of Otley. Property was egged.
Officers responded to the 800 block of 16 th St. on a domestic disturbance.
Arrest: A 40 year old female Perry resident was arrested on a Dallas Co. Warrant, Perry’s original charge
of violation of a no contact order.
Accident: Unit one was parked in front of unit two in the alleyway on the east side of 12th St in the 1000 blk. Both units were stopped in the alley watching a house fire at 12th and Otley. Unit one began to back up from a parked position in the alley and struck unit two who was also parked in the alley. Unit one sustained no damage but the trailer hitch receiver place a hole in the bumper of unit two. Total estimated damages $1,
Accident: Vehicle one was legally parked in the 700 block of 1st when it was stuck by an unknown vehicle. Total estimated damages $200.
A 27 year old female was cited for driving under suspension.
Accident: Vehicle one was backing out of his drive and struck vehicle two that was legally parked. Total estimated damages $1,000.
Received a report of theft from a vehicle in the 1700 block of Pattee.
Arrest: A 44 year old female Bouton resident was charged with driving under suspension.
Arrest: A 55 year old male was taken into custody and charged with simple assault.
Accident: Unit 1one was traveling south on 1st Ave and unit two misjudged the timing on turning and struck the rear of unit one. Minor damage estimated at $900.
Received a report of criminal mischief. An unknown party threw eggs at a residence in the 190 block of W 3rd.
Received a report of a theft of a wallet from the 700 block of 1st Ave.
Arrest: A 30 year old Perry resident was taken into custody and charged with operating while intoxicated 1st offense.
