Perry's Sesquicentennial Celebration kicks off, runs through July 7

Perry's Sesquicentennial Celebration will wrap up on Sunday, July 7 with a community breakfast, church tours and a prayer service.

Perry's Sesquicetennial Celebration kicked off on Friday, July 5.

Friday's festivities included airplane rides, food vendors and activities at Perry Municipal Airport.

The Fly-In/Drive-In Concert wrapped up Friday's events with Adam Bruce, followed by The Jesters Tom Petty Tribute Band at Perry Municipal Airport.

The celebration continued on Saturday, July 6 with a downtown art tour, Wall of Witnesses dramatization, kids activities, Railroad Street Music Fest and more.

The festivities will conclude on Sunday, July 7 with a community breakfast, church tours and a community prayer service.

2 - 4 p.m. - “150 Years of Faithfulness” Church Tour (Start at First United Methodist Church and End at Mt. Olivet Lutheran Church)

4 p.m. Community Prayer Service at Mt. Olivet Lutheran Church
