Run Through Time 5K Fun Run
7 p.m. Saturday, July 6 at Caboose Park.
Perry Lutheran Homes’ second-annual Run Through Time 5K fun run or walk returns on July 6. Participants are encouraged to dress up in their favorite decade attire and enjoy music, memories and blasts from the past. Run Through Time is an out-and-back style fun run on the Raccoon River Valley Trail that starts and finishes at the Caboose Park. Run check-in starts at 6 p.m., a pre-run Zumba warm-up lead by Deb Miller starts at 6:45 p.m., and the run start time is 7 p.m. Registration for the run is all online at www.RunThroughTime.run.

Perry Area Democrats announce former Colorado Governor, John Hickenlooper will be at the Hotel Pattee on Sunday evening, July 7 at 6:30 pm. Hickenlooper is running for the Democratic nomination of President of the United States. This event is open to the public.
Senior Community Meal
12 p.m. Tuesday, July 9 at Spring Valley Campus.
Spring Valley Campus will host a Senior Community Meal for $10 on Tuesday, July 9. The menu includes: Stuffed Hamburgers with Bacon/Cheese, Potato Chips, OUR NEW SALAD BAR and Sharon’s Favorite Dessert. To RSVP, please call Maureen at 465-7500.
Quarterly Classics Book Club Meeting - July 9

The Quarterly Classics Book Club will meet on Tuesday, July 9. The selected title for discussion is “Three Men in a Boat, to Say Nothing of the Dog” by Jerome K. Jerome. Interested readers are invited to join the group for one meeting - or all year. Discussion leader is Jill Cook.

Adult Summer Reading: All About Drones - July 11

Brian Eiteman will be our guest for an adult summer program: All About Drones. We will meet in the library large meeting room and Brian will share his expertise on drone mechanics and operations. Weather permitting, we may spend time outdoors, observing and flying a drone with Brian’s assistance. Everyone is invited to join us for this free event. No registration is needed!
Teen Summer Reading: Final Frontier Fridays

Teens participating in the Universe of Stories Summer Reading Program are invited to attend Final Frontier Fridays, at 3 p.m. in the library large meeting room.
