Participants dress up in holiday outfits for second Tinsel Trot

The Perry Booster Club sponsored the 2nd Annual Tinsel Trot on Saturday, Nov. 24.

Around 55 participants checked in for the 5K Fun Run in front of Raccoon Valley Bank. Teams and individuals posed for photos in front of the Tinsel Trot backdrop. Others got their photos taken with Santa.

Many of the 5K participants were decked out in full holiday gear. Some wore Christmas sweaters and headbands with others donned Santa hats and Frosty costumes.

Santa kicked the 5K off and the participants took off for a loop around town.

All proceeds from the run will go to the Perry Booster Club to help fund various school athletics and activities.
