The Kiwanis Club of Perry has begun a new outreach program where every month they will be recognizing a Perry High School Student of the Month. This award will go to students who show excellence both in and out of the classroom. The students will be given a certificate marking their achievement as well as a gift card.

The inaugural recipient of this award is Natalie Martinez. Natalie was nominated by multiple staff members for always doing the right thing. An example of this would be Natalie recently turning in a billfold with over $50 in it to the office after finding it in the hallway. Natalie is also a leader for the Jayette soccer team, where she excels as a player.

Perry Kiwanis is proud to name Natalie the Student of the Month for September 2018.
