Summer reading is over, and it’s time to sign up for fall storytime sessions at the Perry Public Library. New seven-week units will begin Tuesday, Sept. 18, for toddlers (18 months to 3), Wednesday, Sept. 19, for preschool-aged children (ages 4-5 and their families) and Thursday, Sept. 20, for babies (infants up to 18 months and their caregivers).

The theme for the Toddler Time unit is Hide and Seek, while the Fours and Fives and Families will explore a bedtime theme. The Wee Wonders Storytime group will investigate a variety of topics incorporating songs, finger plays and very simple crafts - and each child will receive a free board book at every session.

Storytimes at the library are always free, but pre-registration is required to ensure materials are available for all participants. All sessions begin at 10:15 a.m.

For more information, or to sign up, call Children’s Librarian Suzanne Kestel at the library, 515-465-3569, or email
