Police Night Out is a national day for the community to have a chance to meet our local police. The event is held nationally on the first Tuesday of August each year. Perry’s Police Night Out will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 7 at the Perry Hy-Vee.

Perry’s free event is directed toward the kids. Kids will get the chance to visit with our police, sit in a police car and dunk an officer in the dunk tank. The Hy-Vee KidsFit crew will also be on hand, with fun and free activities for the kids. The KidsFit main event will be at 6 p.m.

Bring the kids and bring your camera to this fun event, which is open to kids of all ages.
