7-10-18

A 2-vehicle accident was reported in the 300 block of Estella. A Perry resident was arrested for driving while suspended and cited for no driver’s license, failure to provide proof of insurance and failure to yield half the roadway. No injuries reported.

A Perry resident reported shoplifting in the 900 block of Railroad Street. Six juvenile individuals were served with no trespass notices.

A Perry resident reported a stolen bicycle from the 900 block of Willis Avenue.

A Perry resident was charged with simple assault in the 1600 block of 6th Street.

A Perry resident reported fireworks in the 1500 block of Estella. Officers were unable to locate.

A traffic stop in the 800 block of Pine Street resulted in a Perry resident being charged with driving while suspended.

A Perry resident reported stolen property in the 2200 block of Evelyn. Item valued at $175.

7-13-18

A Perry resident reported two individuals sleeping in the shelter house at Pattee Park. Chief Vaughn made contact with individuals and helped get them assistance.

A two vehicle accident was reported at the intersection of 3rd and Railroad. A failure to yield citation was issued.

Casey’s General Store on Willis Avenue reported a gas drive off of $44.30.

A Perry resident reported identity theft after finding out someone else was using their social security number.

A Perry resident reported minor property damage in the 1300 block of Highway 141.

A Perry resident reported nuisance burning in the 1600 block of McKinley. Officer was able to locate and asked resident to put fire out.

A Perry resident was arrested and charged with driving under suspension and two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia.

A Perry resident reported stolen property in the 1700 block of Vine Street. Item valued at $50.

A Perry resident reported a two vehicle accident in the 1000 block of Dewey. No injuries were reported.

A Perry resident reported theft of work related items from a vehicle in the 2700 block of Warford.

A Perry resident reported theft of a garden tiller in the 2300 block of Iowa Street.

A Perry resident reported destruction of property in the 1900 block of 4th Street.

A De Soto resident reported a two vehicle accident at the intersection of 17th and Willis.

A Perry resident was arrested in the 1000 block of Evelyn Street and charged with Driving While Barred.

A Perry resident reported a lost drone in the 2200 block of 1st Street.

A Perry resident reported nuisance burning in the 1400 block of 6th Street. A citation was issued for First Offense Burning.

A Perry resident reported theft from a vehicle in the 2400 block of Parkview Place.

A Perry resident was arrested in the 600 block of Otley Avenue and charged with felony parole violation warrant for dangerous drugs.

A Perry resident reported a breaking and entering in the 2900 block of McKinley.

A Des Moines resident reported illegal dumping in the 1100 block of 2nd Street.

A Perry resident reported an erratic driver on Highway 141. Driver found and cited for no drivers license.

A two vehicle accident was reported at the intersection of 5th and Otley. Both drivers were cited; one for no drivers license, one for failure to yield at a yield sign.

A Perry resident reported loud music being played in the 1800 block of 5th Street. Officers made contact with the resident in question and they agreed to lower the music.

A Perry resident reported a breaking and entering in the 600 block of 8th Street.

A Perry resident reported loud music in the 1800 block of Willis. A 1st offense warning citation was issued.

7-22-18

A Perry resident reported a two vehicle accident at 1st and Park Street. Injuries reported. Citation issued for failure to yield on left turn.
