Children’s Summer Reading Program Blank Park Zoo - July 18

Perry Public Library will host the Blank Park Zoo for a Discover Space Summer Reading program called Show and Tell at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, July 18. This is a free program for all ages, but you must be signed up for the 2018 summer reading programs to attend. For more information, call the library: 515-465-3569.

Adult Summer Reading Program Finale - July 25

The finale event for the Discover Space Adult Summer Reading Program will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 25, in the library large meeting room. We will enjoy Out of this World ice cream sundaes and hold our grand prize drawings.

Children’s Summer Reading Program Finale - July 26

The finale event for the Children’s Discover Space Summer Reading Program is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 26, in the library large meeting room. We will watch the children’s film “Muppets in Space,” which is rated “G” and is 88 minutes in duration. We will enjoy snacks and hold our grand prize drawings at this final summer reading event.

Teen Summer Reading Program Finale - July 27

The final event for the Teen Discover Space Summer Reading Program is the Alien Invasion after hours event, from 6-9 p.m. on Friday, July 27, at the library. The teens will invade the library at closing time and stay after hours with Misty for food, fun and games and the grand prize drawings.
