June 26, 2018

Tobacco compliance checks were completed at several Perry businesses.

A Perry resident reported a dog missing in the 900 block of 12th Street.

A Perry resident reported a motor vehicle theft in the 1700 block of Warford Street.

A Perry resident reported fireworks in the 200 block of Estella. Officers were unable to locate.

June 27, 2018

A Perry police officer found a remote start for a vehicle in the 1200 block of First Street.

A Perry resident reported destruction of property in the 500 block of Willis.

Casey’s General Store on Willis Avenue reported a gas theft.

A Perry resident reported two bikes were stolen from the 200 block of Lucinda.

A Perry resident reported an animal bite in the 900 block of 12th Street.

A Perry resident reported fireworks in the 1700 block of Sixth Street. Officers were unable to locate.

A Perry resident was arrested in the 1200 block of First Avenue and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance

June 28, 2018

A Dallas Center resident was arrested in the 800 block of Fifth Street and charged with operating while intoxicated 1st offense, accident hit and run, possession of alcohol underage.

A Perry resident was arrested in the 600 block of Tenth Street and charged with public intoxication.

June 29, 2018

A Perry resident was arrested in the 1300 block of Sixth Street and charged with possession of paraphernalia.

Perry residents reported fireworks in the 1700 block of Sixth Street and the 1900 block of Warford. Officers were unable to locate either occurrence.

A St. Joseph, Missouri resident was arrested in the 1000 block of Second Street and charged with public intoxication.

June 30, 2018

A Perry resident reported an attack from a dog running at large in the 1700 block of First Street. The dog’s owner was cited with 4th offense Dog at Large.

A Perry resident reported a hit and run in the 300 block of Rawson. A Perry resident from the 2600 block of Warford was cited for no valid drivers license and leaving the scene of an accident.

July 1, 2018

A Des Moines resident was arrested in the 1700 block of Third Street and charged with public intoxication.

Several Perry residents reported fireworks in the following locations: 1700 block of Second Street, 600 block of Bateman, 2300 block of Willis, 500 block of Clearview. Officers were unable to locate in all calls.

July 2, 2018

A Perry resident reported an altercation in the 1000 block of Second Street. Two Perry residents were arrested and charged with disorderly conduct and public intoxication 1st offense.
