“Speed Train” is the third sculpture to be placed on Willis Avenue.

Walton Tree Service used a crane to place the sculpture on a pedestal on Monday afternoon, July 2. The railroad-themed sculpture is at the corner of 1st Avenue and Willis Avenue in the middle of the boulevard.

Artist Jim Russell and his son, Matt, were on hand to help install the sculpture. The sculpture is the third in a series of four sculptures to be placed on Willis Avenue by Art on the Prairie.

A public unveiling has been set for 7-9 p.m. on Monday, July 9 at Caboose Park.
