Perry Police Reports: Nov. 14-22, 2017

Sara Janean Guzman, of Perry, reported destruction of property in the 500 block of Warford Avenue. Advised that someone had come into her yard and stolen an image projector off her lawn in. Current loaded image had leaves.

A caller reported cruelty to animals in the 1900 block of West Fourth Street. Advised there were two abandoned dogs, doesn’t believe that the house in question has electricity and doesn’t believe the dogs are being cared for properly.

November 14, 2017

A caller reported theft from his wallet at Dollar General in Perry. Advised that he dropped his wallet, and the suspect stole cash from it before turning it in at the counter. Further review of surveillance footage proved that the suspect had indeed taken cash from the wallet before turning it in.

The Perry Police Department responded to a report of harassment in the 1200 block of 18th Street.

Brianna McKinzie Murphy at Pizza Hut called to report that two females in their 30s left without paying for $20 worth of food.
