Woodward-Granger Elementary School opens its doors

Granger— A group of students and Brad Anderson, Woodward-Granger Community School District superintendant, cut the ribbon on Aug. 27, outside of the district’s elementary school. “We’re very excited that the day is finally here,” Matt Brummond, Woodward Elementary School principal said. “It’s been a long time coming for people in the Woodward-Granger school district kids. More importantly as a growing community and school we are very excited about this. It’s more about the kids coming in than anything else.” He said this project has been in the works for years and an 18-month process. “We’re very excited.” The building cost $10 million and it will hold about 280 students.
