The Perry High School Swim Team took on Indianola in their second meet of the season and fell 148-40.

The Jayettes were not without their huge victories in several different events.

In the 200 medley relay Jaylene Karolus, Amanda Holwegner, Dannah Karolus, and Abby Herman finished with their season best relay time of 2:15.39.

Sarah Vaughn took the leap by competing in the 200 Free for the first time in her high school career and came out in first place with a time of 2:21.29.

Two Perry swimmers placed in the 50 Yard Freestyle with Dannah Karolus coming in at second with a personal best time of 28.23 and Amanda Holwegner placing fifth with a season best time of 30.68.

Also achieving their season best times was Avery Miner in the 100 Free with 1:09.96 as well as Sarah Vaughn in the 500 Freestyle with a time of 6:18.05 and Amanda Holwegner in the 100 Breastroke with a time of 1:30:20.

Dannah Karolus racked up a personal best time in the 50 Free finishing in 30:68.

Lastly in the 400 Freestyle Relay, Abby Herman, Sara Vaughn, Jaylene Karolus, and Dannah Karolus received 2nd place and achieved their season best relay time at 4:39.82.

Perry Swim will be back at home on Tuesday, Sept. 4 to take on Algona and Boone.
