Timothy Gale Hamman, son of Harry Hamman and Agnes Flynn Hamman, was born on October 3, 1935 in Perry, Iowa. Tim went to Perry Schools growing up. He enjoyed being outside mowing yards for others, and cleaning. Tim was a member of the St. Patrick’s Catholic Church. He loved the Chicago Cubs and Iowa Hawkeyes. Some might say he was sports crazy! Tim died June 24, 2022 at the Kings Garden Campus in Perry. He is preceded in death by his parents Harry and Agnes, sister Annabelle Lewis (Ted), five brothers: Robert Hamman (Kay), his twin Tom Hamman (Nancy), Donald Hamman (Marilyn), William Hamman (Gladys), and John Hamman (Etha), and brother-in-law Lawrence Sitterle. Tim is survived by his sister Florence Sitterle of Des Moines, several nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Funeral Services were held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 29, 2022 at Hastings Funeral Home in Perry, Iowa. Father Ray Higgins of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Guthrie Center, Iowa provided words of comfort. Casket Bearers were: Daniel Sease, Logan Sease, Tim Hamman, Chad Sorber, Greg Lewis, and Larry Sitterle. Recorded music selected was How Great Thou Art & The Old Rugged Cross. Interment took place at Violet Hill Cemetery in Perry, Iowa.
