The annual Lighted Parade and Holiday Celebration returned to Perry on Friday, Nov. 29 to help kick off the holiday season.

The lights on 2nd Street went dark as the parade made its way past crowds of adults and kids. Santa rode in a horse-drawn cart before being dropped off at La Poste.

A line formed outside of La Poste as kids waited their turn to have their photos taken with Santa. They could then pick up a decorated cookie and write a letter to Santa.

St. Patrick’s Youth Singers, Perry High School Select Choir and Shannon and Cindi Bryan then performed in the Cellar.
