LAKE CITY — The Perry swimmers recorded a 391-218 win over host Lake City Area July 2.
Michael Reuter (15-18), Caleb Winey (13-14) and Dylan Winey (9-10) were involved — either individually or on a relay — in five wins for the Perry boys, with Luke Holtorf and Ethan Winey (both 11-12) recording four victories. Triple wins were tallied by Devon Archer and Alex Thompson (both 13-14) and from Riese Archer and Andrew Dowd (both 9-10), with Khyler Carstarphen (9-10) and Tanner Burgin (8U) both winning twice while Chase Archer (11-12) added a victory.
Laura Finneseth (15-18) and Stephanie Hill (11-12) led the girls squad with quintuple victories, with Haileigh Kenyon (15-18), Haley Vaughn (13-14) and Zowie Strough (11-12) winning four times apiece. Shaleah Ewing (15-18), Sadee Whitfield (13-14) and Sarah Vaughn (11-12) were triple winners, with Caley Hager (13-14) and Breanna Penenger (11-12) each winning twice.
Perry also received first-place points from Serenity Ewing and Taylor Wieland (both 15-18) and Elise Hill, Bryn Steffen, Vivian Gonzalez and Anna Ridnour (all 13-14) as well as from 8U swimmers Jaylene Karolus and Jenna Nelson.
