The Perry Swim Team hosted Carroll June 27, with a powerful Tiger team posting a lopsided 406-215 victory. Perry was coming off a 338-254 win at Coon Rapids June 25.
Laura Finneseth (15-18) had five wins for the Perry girls against Carroll, with Shaleah Ewing and Haileigh Kenyon (both 15-18) scoring three wins, as did Stephanie Hill (11-12). Serenity Ewing and Taylor Wieland (both 15-18) and Haley Vaughn (13-14) were the only other girls to post victories.
Luke Holtorf (11-12) led the Perry boys against Carroll with four wins while Ethan Winey (11-12) and Devon Archer (13-14) posted three wins apiece. Alex Thompson (13-14) had two wins, with Caleb Winey (13-14) and Chase Archer (11-12) each winning once.
Wins were far more common against Coon Rapids, with Finneseth, Vaughn and Hill posting five wins apiece for the girls team while Michael Reuter (15-18) and Dylan Winey (9-10) both had quintuple wins for the boys squad.
Kenyon had four wins for the girls side, with Shaleah Ewing, Elise Hill (13-14), Zowie Strough and Sarah Vaughn (both 11-12) scoring triple wins. Caley Hager (13-14) and Breanna Penneger (11-12) both had two wins, with Serenity Ewing, Hannah York and Sadee Whitfield (both 13-14) and Wieland also contributing wins.
Devon Archer and Thompson had four wins for the boys, with Caleb Winey, Holtorf, Riese Archer and Khyler Carstarphen (the latter pair are 9-10) involved in three wins apiece. Ethan Winey had two wins, as did Andrew Dowd (9-10), with Chase Archer posting one win.
Perry completes their season at the IWSC meet in Jefferson Saturday, with the starting time set for 11 a.m.
