OGDEN — The pre-holiday portion of the boys basketball season ended on bitter note for Perry as Ogden rallied late in the fourth quarter to force overtime, where the Bulldogs emerged with an 85-77 victory Dec. 21.
Perry held a narrow 30-28 at the half and faced a 53-50 hole after three quarters but managed to open a 10-point lead in the fourth frame. Ogden surged back to force overtime at 70-all, then dominated the additional four minutes to claim the non-conference win.
Ogden blistered the nets beyond the 3-point arc, hitting 10-of-19 3-pointers while Perry drained 5-of-18.
Cayce Good was unstoppable for the Bulldogs, finishing with a game-high 34 points with nine rebounds and 13 assists while Jared Adreon buried 7-of-11 treys to score 21 points while Grant Heineman added 14 points and 13 boards.
Shammond Ivory went off for 28 points to lead four Bluejays in double-digits as Blake Lansing added 13 points, Ben Daniels 12 and Bryce Meier a career-high 10.
Will Whiton had seven points, Scott James five and Cavan Finn two, with Daniels grabbing 13 rebounds and making five steals while Ivory had eight assists and Whiton seven.
