WOODWARD — Two W-G volleyballers earned All-WCC First Team honors, with two other Hawks named to the honorable mention list in recent voting by the WCC coaches.
Juniors Abby Musser and Tori Manning were both selected for First Team recognition, with junior Abby Hansen and freshman Olivia McCune named to the honorable mention list.
Musser led the team with 275 kills and served 289-of-325 with a team-best 62 aces. She had 15 assists and six blocks while turning in 501 digs. Now the school leader in career digs, Musser finished her third varsity campaign with 1,112 digs.
Manning was tabbed at the first unit defensive specialist. She was an impressive 324-of-342 (.950) serving with 28 aces and was second for W-G with 383 digs.
Hansen had 100 kills and led the team with 59 blocks while McCune tallied 181 kills and served 300-330-39. McCune had 61 digs, 10 assists and 38 blocks.
W-G was 24-16 overall and 6-2 in WCC play after starting the year with five new starters on the floor.
