The Hawks just beat the stormy weather on Monday, but could not beat Ogden at their most recent home game. Woodward-Granger lost to the Bulldogs in a close competition, 3-0.


Sophomore Brandon Worley pitched all seven innings on Monday and was able to throw five strikeouts against Ogden batters. All three runs scored by the Bulldogs were earned runs and Worley only came out with one base on balls. The young pitcher also ended the game with only seven hits.


When it was Woodward-Grangers turn to bat, the team came up short with no hits or runs to add to the score board.
