It was a fourth place finish for the Woodward-Granger girls’ golf team when they played their latest non conference meet.


At the Woodward Golf and Country Club, Cierra DeHoet, Aubrey Mescher, Emma Greiner and Bailey Thompson combined for a 446 score.


DeHoet, led the team with a 102 at the April 26, meet. Her 102 came after finishing her 18-hole round with a par, seven bogeys, seven doubles and three triples.


Mescher was second with a 110. Greiner shot a 116 and Thompson added a 118. Emily Trewet (124) and Megan Burkhart (133) also partook.


As a team, the Panthers of Panorama finished on top with a 425. The Ballard Bombers tied for first while the A-D-M Tigers came in third with a 437.


In fifth were the Ogden Bulldogs with a 453 followed by the AC/GC Chargers with a 494. Both the Perry Jayettes and Madrid Tigers participated but were unable to turn in a scorecard,


The team along with the boys squad head to Stuart for a showdown versus the West Central Valley Wildcats on April 27.
