The only time the Perry Summer Swim Team (PSST) cools off is after another dominating performance victory that helped the team remain undefeated at 8-0 after their June 29th event.

So far this season PSST has left so many bobbing along the pool and Thursday was no different as they beat up on their host the Glidden Swim Team (GST) in a 474.5 to 72.5 match.

Heather Karolus, PSST Board Secretary, didn’t take anything away from PSST’s performance, but acknowledged that GST only had a handful of swimmers.

“Glidden is another small team in the conference with 18 swimmers,” she said. “Perry had 47 of our 59 swimmers on hand Thursday night.”

In 71 events PSST combined for a total of 65 first place finishes - 16 team and 49 individual.

In their 16 team victories the girls and boys split first place honors with each accounting for eight. Individually the girls recorded 25 top honors with the boys achieving 24.

PSST looks wrap up their regular season undefeated when they host Sac City on Thursday, July 6 at 6:30 pm.

“The public is invited to attend,” Karolus said. “The Conference meet will be Saturday, July 15 in Sac City starting at 11 am.”
