Perry’s Connor Nielsen’s 9-hole round of 39 led the Bluejays to a 15 stroke win versus the host Ogden Bulldogs.

On Tuesday at the Don Williams Golf Course in Ogden the Bluejays finished the afternoon with a team score of 175 to the Bulldogs 190.

Nielsen had his best 9-hole round of the season posting his lowest score and earning medalist honors.

After starting the day with a two bogeys and a birdie, Nielsen he recorded five pars and one double bogey.

Teammate Noah Wilkening added another solid day with a round of 40. His score earned him medalist runner up.

Dane McCarty’s 46 and Tanner Duffy’s 50 were the team’s other two tallies. Other notable performers were Luke Rathje with a 51 and Gabe Ridnour with a 60.

The Ogden junior varsity team beat out the Bluejays by 40 strokes in a 197 to 237 contest.

Up next the Bluejays take their short game to A.D.M for a Thursday match against the Tigers.
