It was first place honors for the Jayettes’ golf team who out played five other schools at the W-G Invite at the Woodward Golf and Country Club.

At last Thursday’s golf meet, the Perry squad finished seven strokes ahead of the Ballard Bombers with four golfers combining for an 18-hole round of 403.

Alyssa Kruger, Perry, and Maranda Wheelock, Ogden, finished tied at 91 a piece for the day’s best performance.

For the tournament Kruger tallied two birdies, three pars, eight bogeys and five holes of double or triples bogeys.

Kruger’s teammate Brooke Huntington finished just a stroke behind with a 92. Sarah Sweet’s 97 and Delaney Eiteman’s 123 rounded out the final two scores.

The A-D-M Tigers came in third place with a 416 followed by the Panorama Panthers’ 430. The host W-G Hawks finished fifth with a 451 and the Ogden Bulldogs came in last with a 490.
