The Hawks’ 18-hole round of 451 landed them in fifth place at the team’s own invite at at the Woodward Golf and Country Club.
At last Thursday’s tournament the W-G Hawks didn’t finish the way the had hoped, but three individual players managed a top 15 finish.
Cierra DeHoet, Hawks, led her squad with an 18-hole round of 105. Her score earned her 12th place overall.
DeHoet finished the front nine with a 55 after recording four bogeys, three double bogeys, a triple and one five-over par. In the back nine she tallied a par, three bogeys, three doubles and two triples for a 51.
Teammates Paige Mescher’s 112 and Ashland James’ 113 finished 14th and 15th overall. Aubrey Mescher followed seven places behind with a 121.
The Perry Jayettes took the first place prize with a round of 403. In second place was the Ballard Bombers with a 410. The A-D-M Tigers earned third place with a 416.
In fourth place was the Panorama Panthers who shot a round of 431. Bringing up the rear was the Ogden Bulldogs with a 490.
