Caller reported a woman and a child wrestling on the ground outside of Shopko. Officer responded to find a mother who was trying to calm her son down after fighting with his sister.
Officer responded to a truancy report at the Middle School. Located the subject at home and transported him to the school.

Veronica Labar reported identity theft. Several hundred dollars were taken from her bank account.

School bus driver reported a traffic violation while unloading at the Perry Child Development Center. Case is under investigation.
James Moffett, 2118 Estella St., reported someone had set his boat on fire in the back yard. Case is under investigation.
Caller reported someone attempted to force their way through her locked front door. Officer patrolled the area and unable to locate anyone.
Christopher Carstarphen was served with a no trespassing order and is not to go on the following property: 1522 Dewey Ave., belonging to Jacob Miller.
Perry Health Care staff requested an officer to take a report of theft of morphine from the facility.
James Moffett, 2118 Estella St., advised that his back door was spray painted. Officers responded and found that the glass part of the door had been spray painted.
Caller reported a suspicious vehicle parked in the alley behind his residence in the 500 block of Warford St. Vehicle gone upon arrival.
Crystal Garrido advised someone had broken into her vehicle and stole her wallet. The driver’s side window was broken. Case is under investigation.
Marilyn Brady, 2406 Evelyn St., reported something hit the side of her house so hard it knocked stuff off the walls. Officer unable to find anything outside.
Arlyce Nichols, 2506 Otley Ave., reported someone just threw something at her house and requested extra patrol of the area.
Michelle Proctor, 1808 W 3rd St. advised she arrived home and discvoered that someone had been in her house and taken her mother’s jewelry. Jewelry and numerous other items were taken from the residence. Case is under investigation.
Darwin Whipple advised that someone had broken into the vending machine at the Progressive Foundry. Suspects broke glass and safe using a sledge hammer which was left behind. Case is under investigation.
Manuel Diaz, 1612 1/2 W 2nd St., advised he arrived home and someone had broken into his residence. Window was broken and TV and other items were missing.
Ryan Lyddon advised that someone had left a fancy chair on his deck. Does not know where it came from. Item was transported to the police station.
Caller advised that she received a text message from her sister who indicated that she just saw someone go into her grandparent’s garage at 2106 1st Ave. Officers responded and advised the door was open to the garage but could not tell if anything was missing.

Oscar Perez-Lopez, 25, of 2801 1st Ave. #21, Perry, was arrested for driving under suspension.
Efrain Calderon Castillo, 35, of 1420 5th St., Perry, was arrested for urinating in public and public intoxication, first offense.
Benjamin Paul Campfield, 36, of 1214 1/2 Willis Ave., # 5, Perry, was arrested on two counts of tird-degree burglary, a Class D felony.

Caller reported a small poodle in the 2900 block of Kading Rd. that has been tied outside for four hours and has been barking.
Subject brought in three gray striped cats that he cannot find homes for. Cats were taken to the pound.
Caller advised he caught a large curly-haired dog that was running loose. Dog was transported to the pound.
Caller reported a large white dog running loose and tearing up garbage in the 2000 block of 2nd St. Dog belongs to Michael Sloss, who was advised of situation.
Caller reported a dog without shelter at 409 Grove St. Owner contacted and said he would put the dog in the garage.
