The IMT Group, a leading provider of personal and commercial insurance, has announced its list of 2014 Gem agencies, and the Perry-based Heenan Agency is one of the winners.

The IMT Gem award signifies the Heenan Agency is one of the highest performing agencies in the company’s six-state territory, which covers Iowa, Illinois, Minnesota, Nebraska, South Dakota and Wisconsin.

Of the approximately 860 IMT Group agencies eligible for consideration, only 83 of the top performing agencies received the Gem distinction this year, a company spokesperson said.

She noted the "superior performance and steadfast commitment" of the Heenan Agency as factors in the award. "The IMT Group is proud of its strong relationship and partnership with the Heenan Agency," she said.
