Allen Pattillo, Iowa State University Extension Program Specialist, will speak about aquaponics, which combines aquaculture and hydroponic plant production into a sustainable agricultural production system. This free program is sponsored by the Iowa Colleges Access Network and will assist families with information regarding college financing, filling out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) paperwork and other items useful for getting money for college. The Des Moines Area Community College provides the facility and Iowa Colleges Access Network provides the program.
