A Perry resident reported he had a gray & black striped stray cat caught in a live trap in the 2400 block of McKinley Street. Officers transported cat to pound.


A single vehicle accident was reported in the 400 block of 1st Avenue. No injuries reported.

A Perry resident reported a tan Labrador/Shepherd mix dog running at large in the 1500 block of Lucinda. Officers responded and were unable to locate the dog.


A single vehicle accident was reported in the 1100 block of 2nd Street. Driver was unable to stop his vehicle, jumped the curb and struck building on Warford side.


A stray small brown and white dog was brought into the police station. Dog was found in the area of 4th and Park Streets. Dog was transported to the pound.

Hastings Funeral Home requested an escort from the Methodist Church to Highway 144.


A counterfeit $100 bill was reported in the 1200 block of 2nd Street.


A found bicycle near Frog Creek was dropped off at the bike shed.


A 36 year old female Perry resident was arrested and charged with public intoxication and interference with official acts.

A gas drive off was reported in the 2600 block of Willis Avenue.


A Perry resident reported a school bus violation. A black Honda Civic passed the bus while the arm was out and the lights were flashing. Driver was found and a citation was issued for passing the school bus.


A 14 year old male Perry resident was arrested and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.


An unknown called reported burning leaves at 16th and McKinley Streets. Officers were unable to locate.

Several calls were received regarding a vehicle going westbound in the eastbound lanes of Highway 141.


A Perry resident reported a stray caught caught in a live trap. Officers responded and transported white Calico type cat to the pound. A short while later, same party called back with another cat caught. Officers responded and transported an orange & white tabby kitten to the pound.


Hastings Funeral Home requested an escort from the funeral home to 1st Street and then north.


A Perry resident reported a lost passport. Stated he needed to report his current one lost to be able to request a new one.


A Perry resident reported his house on fire in the 2500 block of 1st Street.


A Perry resident reported dog barking in the 2600 block of Warford Street. Officers were unable to locate the barking dog but spoke with the dog owners and advised them of the complaint.


An officer reported nuisance burning in the 1300 block of 6th Street. A Perry resident was issued a 2nd offense nuisance burning citation.


A Perry resident reported a party at the armory with an individual causing problems. Officers responded and arrested and charged a 19 year old male Perry resident with public intoxication and disorderly conduct.

Two juveniles were issued citations for 1st and 2nd offense curfew violations following a traffic stop in the 1800 block of West 2nd Street.


A 38 year old female Perry resident was arrested in the 900 block of Willis Avenue and charged with forgery & theft and unauthorized use of a credit card & theft.


A Perry resident reported kids on top of the restrooms at Wiese Park. Officers spoke with the children and advised them to stay off the roof.


A two vehicle accident was reported in the 700 block of 1st Street. No injuries reported. Damage estimated at $500.

A two vehicle accident was reported in the 1200 block of Estella. No injuries reported.


A 28 year old male Perry resident was arrested in the 1900 block of Warford on 3 Dallas County warrants; two for probation violation and one for failure to appear on trespass 1st offense.


Nuisance burning was reported in the 1000 block of West 6th Street. Officers spoke with homeowner, advised of open burning ordinance. Agreed to put fire out.


A Perry resident reported open burning in the vicinity of 3rd and Center Street. Officers responded and a resident was cited for 1st offense warning open burning.
