The Perry Community Blood Drive will be held from 2-6 p.m. on Friday, July 27, at Dallas County Hospital, 610 10th St. The Woodward Community Blood Drive will be held from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday, July 28, 2018 at United Methodist Church, 108 W 5th St.

2. Trial of Goldilocks


7 and 8 p.m. Friday, July 27 and 7 and 8 p.m. Saturday, July 28 at Carnegie Library Museum.


Perry Community Theatre will present “The Trial of Goldilocks” at 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. on July 27 and 28 in the basement courtroom in the Carnegie Library Museum.


All tickets are $5. Tickets went on sale July 5 at the Carnegie Library Museum. Each performance can only seat around 40. A limited number of tickets will be available at the door.


The 7 p.m. shows on Friday and Saturday are completely sold out. A limited number of tickets are available for the 8 p.m. Friday show. More tickets are available for the 8 p.m. Saturday show.


3. Conscientious Objectors in WWI


1:30 p.m. Sunday, July 29 at Forest Park Museum.


Join Forest Park intern and UNI student Sean Riley as he discusses the fascinating history of Conscientious Objectors of Dallas County and the tortures they faced in America’s Military Camps during World War I. Sean has a special interest in military history, so you won’t want to miss this presentation. Pre-registration appreciated.
