1. Lifelong Learners program


6:30 p.m. Thursday, May 10 in Perry Public Library large meeting room.


The Lifelong Learners program “Organize and Simplify Your Life/What is Swedish Death Cleaning” will be held on May 10. Interior designer Cathy Kramer from The Container Store and formerly from Better Homes and Gardens will be presenting tips and organization demos to help jumpstart cleaning projects at home. The program is free and everyone is welcome to attend. No registration is needed.


2. Tailwheel Fly-In/Drive-In


8-11 a.m. Saturday, May 12 at Perry Municipal Airport.


The fourth annual Tailwheel Fly-In/Drive-In will return on May 12 at the Perry Municipal Airport. Breakfast will be served from 8-11 a.m. for $5 a person. Kids under 5 will eat for free. Airplane rides will be going on all day for $20 a person. For more information, call 515-465-3970.


3. Fiber Art Fair


10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, May 12 at La Poste.


The second annual Fiber Art Fair returns on May 12. Various vendors will be located inside La Poste, Mary Rose Collection, Perry Perk, Peterson Designs and Citizens Bank Gallery. Classes will also be available in The Cellar of La Poste. The Perry Piecemakers Quilt Guild will be presenting a pair of programs at the Citizens Bank Gallery.
