Carla Raye Bousman, adoptive grandmother of Sabrina Ray, has reached a plea agreement with State prosecutors, according to online court records. A message from Judge Terry Rickers said that the details of the agreement will be revealed at the plea hearing on April 6 at 1:30 p.m. at the Dallas County Courthouse.

Bousman was arrested on May 31, 2017 following the death of 16-year-old Sabrina Ray, who was found deceased in her home on May 12, 2017 weighing only 56 pounds while her adoptive parents, Marc and Misty Ray, were on vacation.

Bousman has been charged with three counts of first degree kidnapping, one count of child endangerment resulting in death and one count of obstruction of proscution or defense.

The order setting the hearing was filed by Judge Rickers on Wednesday, March 28.

Justin Ray, Sabrina's adoptive brother pleaded guilty to two counts of willful injury causing bodily injury and will serve up to 10 years in prison. He allegedly "drop kicked" Sabrina down a flight of stairs.

Marc and Misty are being charged with first degree murder and are still awaiting trial. Josie Bousman, Sabrina's adoptive cousin is also awaiting trial and will also testify on behalf of the state.
