Grandwood Education Center, operated by the Woodward-Granger School District, will be closed today due to a heating malfunction in the system. According to Brad Anderson, Woodward-Granger Superintendent, the heating issue has happened in the past and is a separate system from the district.

“This is a building on the Woodward Resource Campus - we don’t have any control over the heating over that,” Anderson said.

The Education Center provides education to students who reside on the Woodward Resource Center campus, according to the Woodward-Granger Community School District page. Students are taught in an intimate setting with a class ratio of one teacher to five students.

According to Anderson, the heating issue has been addressed and is being worked on.
