Perry, Iowa— Dallas County Hospital is excited to announce that Cindy Peeler, RN, BSN, MHSA, has been chosen to replace Tonya Summerson, as DCH’s Chief Clinical Officer.
Cindy began her career at Mercy 29 years ago as a staff nurse. From there she held various other positions for a total of 24 years before moving into a CNO position at Adair County Health Systems for 5 years. She is an active member of IONL, Iowa Organization for Nurse Leaders, and has spoken at national conferences.
“Cindy has already been a great asset to our team here at Dallas County Hospital,” said Angela Mortoza, CEO. “Her clinical background paired with her leadership experience is a great addition to our team. We are all excited for her experience to continue to help grow our services and quality!”
Cindy began her new role in Nov. 2017.
