The Perry Police Department responded to a report of sexual abuse in the 1700 block of Seventh Street.


Randy Lee Dekoter, of Perry, reported internet fraud in the 2600 block of Summer Meadows. Advised that his Ebay account had been hacked and items were ordered and sent to a shipping company in New Jersey.

Taylor Renee Patrick, of Perry, reported breaking and entering in the 600 block of Fifth Street. Reported that someone had broken into her locked vehicle overnight.


Heather Thacker, of Perry, reported breaking and entering in the 1900 block of Otley. Advised that both of her vehicles had been broken into and items were missing from her truck.


Lora Lynette Ellsbury-Hupp, of Perry, reported destruction of property in the 2000 block of Fourth Street. Advised that all four tires on her vehicle had been slashed.


Harlow Gene Conrad, of Perry, reported breaking and entering in the 800 block of Railroad. Advised that someone had broken into his storage unit.


Victor Manuel Mejla, of Perry, reported breaking and entering in the 1300 block of Evelyn. Advised that someone had entered his unlocked vehicle and rummaged around.

October 20, 2017


Scott Alan Hawbaker, of Perry, reported destruction of property in the 1100 block of Sixth Street. Advised that someone had had cut the drive shaft in half on the tow truck at Motor Kars II.


William Lester Clark, of Perry, reported breaking and entering in the 1300 block of Second Street. Advised that someone had broken into his garage, causing damage to the walk-in door. The walls and floor had been spray painted as well.


Jack Duane Davis, of Perry, reported false pretenses/swindle in the 1800 block of Pine Street. Advised that someone had sent them a check for four times more than their asking price for an item they were selling on Craigslist. When they called the company and asked about it, they said that person whose name is on the check had retired and that his account had been closed. Davis was advised not to cash the check.


Gloria Elizabeth Ayala, of Perry, reported false pretenses/swindle in the 800 block of Fifth Street. Advised she had received a call saying she had won a trip, but research found the information to be false.


Mark Alan Eppert, of Perry, reported destruction of property in the 1600 block of Eighth Street. Advised that several trucks had driven on the grass on the east side of the back parking lot of the Perry Elementary School and had wrecked the grass.


Victoria Jones, reported a porch fire in the 800 block of Fourth Street. Advised she was able to put the fire out herself.


The Perry Police Department responded to a report of harassment in Minburn.


Ashlyn Haley Wilkins-South reported identity theft in the 1700 block of Warford.


October 19, 2017


Ronald Gene Pentico, of Perry, reported breaking and entering. Advised he had been on vacation and upon arrival, noticed that his garage had been broken into. Advised nothing was missing, but things had been looked through on his shelves.


A fire was reported in the 1600 block of Estella.


October 18, 2017


Gene Francis Heimerman, of Perry, reported breaking and entering in the 1700 block of Evelyn. Reported that someone had broken into his garage. Advised that the only thing missing were some silver magnets on the refrigerator. No damage reported.


Clint Morton Nelson, of Perry, reported stolen property in the 1100 block of Willis Avenue. Advised that his friend’s jacket, valued at $150 had been stolen as it was left outside for a few minutes. Advised that they have video of a male suspect taking the jacket.


Courtney Kathleen Straker, of Perry, reported breaking and entering in the 1000 block of West Fifth Street. Said that someone had broken into her garage overnight.

Kristine Joi Ivory, of Perry, reported false pretenses/swindle in the 800 block of Warford. Advised she received a letter for a secret shopper she is not a part of that included a $2,500 check. She did not believe the deal was real.


James Arthur Pentico, of Perry, reported false pretenses/swindle in the 2300 block of Otley Avenue. Advised he received a letter saying he won second prize in a European, African and North America Consumer Sweepstakes, along with a check. Advised he wanted the police department to be aware of the scam.


Leah Marie Zuber, of Perry, reported destruction of property in the 700 block of Fifth Street. Advised that the cord to the battery on her boyfriend’s vehicle had been cut.


Billie Jean Myer, of Perry, reported theft in the 2600 block of McKinley. Advised that someone had stolen two checks from her apartment, which was locked when she left and when she returned.


Debbie Olson, of Perry, reported false pretenses/swindle in the 1800 block of Southgate.
