Dallas County Habitat for Humanity was presented a $15,000 check by Raccoon Valley Bank on Thursday, Sept. 21. The funds will go towards the build of the organization’s first construction home in Perry in 2018.

According to a press release from Habitat for Humanity, the home will be sold to a “qualified, low-income family who will purchase the home with an affordable mortgage.”

Additionally, Raccoon Valley Bank has pledged to involve staff in volunteer aspects of the home project.
