Perry High School began this year’s “Safari in the Savannah” Homecoming festivities early by naming the 2017 court on Friday, Sept. 15. The afternoon was interrupted by a mid-afternoon assembly with performances by the pep-band and cheerleaders.


The senior class began voting for the court on Monday, Sept. 11.


This year’s Homecoming Court was announced during the assembly: Reece Dunlap, Tanner Duffy, Alexis Garrido, Brandon Ruiz, German Alvasenga, Vivian Gonzalez, Syndey Guerra, Sidney Vancil, Alyssa Kruger, and Breanna Ackerman.

Students will be volunteering throughout the day in the community


Chamber of Commerce Homecoming Parade will start at 6 p.m.

Pep rally and coronation at the high school gym at 8 p.m.


Bonfire will start at 8:30 p.m.

Game day festivities will begin at 1:10 p.m.


Ninth grade Football home game at 4:45 p.m.
