Clarissa Eve Miller, of Perry, reported stolen property in the 1900 block of Warford Street. Advised that her daughters Powerwheels BMW car with silver rims and Troll stickers was missing.


Brandon Lee Ferguson, of Perry, reported breaking and entering in the 1200 block of 18th Street. Advised that someone had broken into his shed and the lock was off of it.


A caller advised that his son had been bitten by a dog in the 1900 block of Evelyn. Ron Sexton, of Perry, was issued a first offense warning for vicious dog and a first offense warning for failure to register dog.


Barbara Rose Riley, of Des Moines, reported harassment by phone in the 2200 block of Second Street.

Brandon James Thomas, of Perry, reported robbery in the 1100 block of Willis Avenue. Advised that he was jumped while walking in an alley. Said his JL headphones and wallet were stolen.

A 17-year-old male from Perry was arrested on Highway 141 in Perry and was charged with driving while suspended.


Kevin Dale McLaughlin, of Perry, reported destruction of property in the 1600 block of Eighth Street. Advised that the word “Nova” had been written on the containers on the east side of the building at Perry Elementary School.

Ryan James Kinney, of Perry, reported breaking and entering at Third and Evelyn. Advised that someone had tried to break into a storage unit, but had not gained entry. Officer Deaton observed damage on locks to two units.

Ashley Jo Jackson, of 2165 B Avenue, Perry, was arrested in the 1600 block of Willis Avenue and charged with possession of marijuana.


Sheldon Gene Boswell, of 116 West First Street, Bouton, was arrested in the 1600 block of Willis Avenue and charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

The Perry Police Department responded to a report of breaking and entering in the 400 block of First Street. Caller advised that man, who was bald and appeared to be in his 50s, was attempting to get into employees’ vehicles behind the business.


Anthony Ray Owens, of 603 First Street, Jamaica, was arrested in the 2600 block of Willis Avenue on a Story County warrant for parole violation, original charge of possession of a controlled substance.


Jessica Raye Clipperton, of 603 First Street, Jamaica, was arrested in the 2600 block of Willis Avenue on a Story County warrant for parole violation, original charge of prohibited acts - manufacture, deliver, and consp drugs.


Jessica Raye Clipperton, of 603 First Street, Jamaica, was arrested in the 900 block of Willis Avenue and charged with two counts of unauthorized use of a credit card, under $1,000, and possession of drug paraphernalia.


Gerry DeJean Bacon, of Perry, reported credit card fraud in the 1900 block of Evelyn Street. Advised that someone has been applying for credit cards in her name.

Neyda Elizabeth Alfaro, of Perry, reported that someone had broken into her vehicle. Advised that her wallet, a textbook and a shopping bag were missing. Reported that someone had used the debit card that was in the wallet.


John Vincent Evans reported a motor vehicle theft in the 200 block of North Green Street, Allerton, Iowa.


Danny McCombs Benshoop, of 206 Warford Street, Perry, was arrested at his home address on a Greene County warrant for third degree harassment.


The Perry Police Department responded to a report of harassment by phone or email in the 2600 block of Summer Meadows Drive.


Kimberly Michele Petersen, of Perry, reported theft from vehicles in the 1600 block of Willis Avenue. Advised that a friend stopped by for about 20 minutes and had her purse stolen from the vehicle.
